On our trip to Scotland, one place that made a significant impact on me and my family was Castle Glume, or Castle Campbell as it is now known. Given to an ancestor for whom I am named, I felt a connection to the place as I walked the halls and imagined the hustle and bustle that would have been taking place there 500 years ago. I did three large paintings from our Scotland trip, this is my favorite.
